My baby was finally in need of some new rubber. I finally got together with Zack, my hookup at Americas tire and we were able to set something up. Just in time for the Malibu Canyon run. So she is now sitting on Kumho SPT 225 45/18s. A good tire for my needs. Here is my baby sitting on the rack.

I have been working on some video I shot from a day spent driving in the Malibu Canyons. We did about 200 miles round trip total and hit a bunch of roads. There were 4 of us total from the MOCC forums, Candy Blue, Zack and O.G.Sk8er as well as myself. I tried a different camera position this time and it seemed to work out better than last time. I am also working on getting a wireless bullet cam or 2 to get some other interesting shots. I will post each individual run on my videos section for my car, but for now, check out the highlight videos from that day.
This is part 1 of 2. I will have the 2nd part up whenever I decide to get around to editing it.

Tuesday night is our regular meet night for the Mazda group. Lately the group has been shrinking but we decided to get together since Diana was returning coma 5 week trip to Mexico.
We had a pretty good turn out with about 13 or so people meeting in Signal Hill. We decided that bowling was on the agenda and headed to Valley View lanes for $1 game night. Had a good time as always than headed to Denny’s for some late night grub. I’m sure there are pictures somewhere but I only took one.

I didnt like the center mount of the license plate on my car and finally was able to find a mount soutable. I picked up a toe hook license plate hook from RHO Plate out of Canada. Works really well and puts the plate in a good location on the car without blocking any air flow. What do you think?

Yesterday I spent all day at the beach getting roasted and toasted. We had a great time. I had planned a MOCC meet right after I planned the MOCC annual run and it finally came about. Support seemed low at the beginning but it seems that we were able to make a go of it. About 25 people showed up in total with a few staying for only a little bit. Overall it was a great day. I did end up getting burnt on my arms and face but not so bad. I even went in the water for a little bit which is a plus for me and my swimming.
Sadly, I did not take any pictures as I was too busy making sure everything else was taken care of. I did get some small bit of video that I will post sometime this week but not sure which day. So with this small post I leave you with a picture taken by one of the MOCC members, Jeff.
